Dear Parent/ Guardian/ Friend!

We are very pleased to invite you to the Leslie Frost Christmas Concert for 2013!

On Tuesday, December 17th, at 6:30 PM we will host a performance to bring in the Holidays. This will be in the Central Senior School gym.

Central Senior has been kind enough to lend us their gym, which allows us comfortable seating for all, in a venue that is accustomed to housing such performances.

The concert will last approximately 1 ½ hours and will include performances from the school Band, Choir, and Bell Choir, as well as classroom entertainment currently being discussed. It will be emceed in each French and English to celebrate the unique culture of Leslie Frost, and to keep talk to a minimum – you’re coming to hear your kids, not staff!

There is no cost, but a station will be set up for the local Food Bank, and a food donation would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you so much for encouraging the Arts at Leslie Frost – see you on the 17th!

Dear Parent/ Guardian,

On November 8th we in the Band, Choir, and Bell Choir will be fortunate enough to show our peers selections from the extra-curricular music ensembles up and running at Leslie Frost.

Mrs. O’ Leary has encouraged a “Celebration of Music” assembly during period three, (11:20 – 11:50) to highlight each ensemble and allow the rest of the student body to enjoy, and perhaps even inspire!

Although this is an in-school mini-performance, parents and friends are always welcome should you be fortunate enough to manipulate your work schedule. If this is the case, please courtesy Mme. Seidel with a phone call or e-mail, so that we can accommodate you with comfortable seating.

Should you not be able to make it, understand that that is the norm for such performances, and know that this is really but a small taste for the kids to show their stuff to the school (before the monumental, colossal, never seen but-for-the-likes-of-David Copperfield Festive concert celebration in December (details to follow). We will be so excited and so will you – hang in for just one and a half more months – you can do it!!!

Thanks for your children – we’re very lucky to be at Leslie Frost.
