Vous avez récemment fait partie d'une choréographie qui a été utilisée dans une forme concrète (dans une piece musicale de Broadway) ainsi que dans l'abstrait (dans un extrait de Stravinsky "LE SACRE DU PRINTEMPS" ). Vous avez été interprète, choréographe et critique.

Vous avez vu des extraits de chorégraphie originale de Nijinski, ainsi que l’art abstrait de Picasso et Matisse - en comparaison de diverses ébauches de Van Gogh. Vous avez également examiner un texte afin de reflechir "To Be a Drum" qui met fin à notre atelier de percussion avec Rodrigo Chavez, décrivant la belle et  «pas si belle » histoire de tambours en Amérique du Nord. Je voudrais que vous réfléchissiez et que vous completiez la page suivante.

Soyez  patients, attentionnés et honnêtes avec votre travail. Je suis vraiment très heureux de lire vos réponses.

DRAMA AND DANCE ARE ON THEIR WAY!!!

The last week of October and first week of November involve students from grades 4-8 applying skills learned in Drama and Dance in stead of Instrumental Music. This doesn't mean they stop practicing their instrument!!!

PLEASE ask what we're up to at the dinner table, in the van on the way to hockey, etc Don't accept, "Nothin". Insist!

We will be exploring Drama and Dance involving mime, abstract dance, choreography possibilities, tableau as well as introducing elents of proper stage production such as facing audience, use of gesture, eye contact, even getting into lights, sound, and other components of "production". Ask what you're loved one is up to- and quit letting "Nothin" be acceptable!!! :0)
